Who do I work with?

I’ve been lucky to work with some great clients during my career.

Whilst no two clients are the same, many of the people I work with have things in common, such as:

  • Being a City professional building wealth or approaching retirement
  • Typically earning around £100,000 per year
  • Working as an employee or contracting
  • Working in law, insurance, banking and IT

If that describes you, you’ll know that dedicating time to your finances can be a struggle. A demanding career makes it all too easy for proper financial planning to fall by the wayside.

I am highly experienced in working with the financial challenges City professionals regularly face, as well as the solutions. These challenges can be as specific as wanting to consolidate existing pensions, or as broad as wanting to put a financial plan in place to achieve long term financial security.

A few common questions I get include:

  • Am I doing the right thing to achieve both my short and long-term financial goals?
  • How do I make the most of any surplus income each month?
  • Am I looking after the future of my family as well as my own?

Many of my clients are particularly concerned about life after work. What does retirement look like? Whether it be early, late, or right on time, figuring it out is rarely easy. Implementing it is even less so; adapting to retirement after working 50, 60 or even 70-hour weeks can be a real shock for most unless they are adequately prepared.

After we have unpicked exactly what issues you face and the life you want to achieve, a strategy can be devised, and a plan of action implemented, helping you achieve your financial objectives, whatever they may be.
